IC-EG members are considering a new in-vehicle system architecture using containers. It has the potential to eliminate the complexity of existing in-vehicle systems using Linux.

Container technology ensure safety by isolating the software environment running on Linux. On the other hand, each in-vehicle system element requires graphics function, sound function, and a in-vehicle communication function. However, these function are difficult to achieve with existing container technology.

Presenters will present the next generation graphics, sound, CAN and more architecture of the functions.
